I’m a thick lady, and I’ve got a lot of love for the fat acceptance movement. I mean, the tenants are truly righteous (just to name a few):  anti-fat discrimination is an incredibly prevalent (and widely accepted) form of prejudice; the full range of women’s bodies are equally beautiful; and the media has an obligation to stop shoving unrealistic expectations down our throats.
