That’s Original.

July 20th, 2008 · 5 Comments

According to Daily Mail, a UK-based website, the New Scientist recently published a study claiming that women and men’s brains are, in fact, wired differently. The shocking results? Men think predominantly about sex, while women “devote more brain power to decision-making and emotions”. Grrrr… I’d love to see the questions this study asked, who their subjects were, and what company backed the whole endeavor. That might lead to some interesting answers as well…

However, what really stinks is that Daily Mail has taken this opportunity to feed into the stereotypes by posting “hilarious” images from their readers. My “favorite”,

Wow, very original… so funny, right?

I’m going to go grind my teeth now and try to shake it off.

Why? Is something upsetting about that?

I can’t tell if you’re serious or not, but just in case you are…

I know for a fact that women (I’ll just go ahead and use that term instead of “girlies”) don’t identify streets as “big scary road”. That might be how children see them, which is exactly why the image above bothers me. Know what I’m sayin’?

    Abused!
Since the sarcasm wasn’t obvious let me be more clear…
These stereotypes are bullshit and some of the most intelligent and sexual people I know are women.
