For some reason, I woke up with this song in my head this morning:

Remember those bitches? I used to watch that show when I was home sick from school. So in a further tribute to the late Bea Arthur, I just want to say, thank god for shows that taught us how to celebrate female friendship! And, for that matter, female hilarity (Laverne and Shirley and their crazy hijinks!), and female trailblazing, as immortalized in the words of the L and S theme song: “We’re gonna do it our way, yes our way, make all our dreams come true!” Awww!
