Or does the universe seem utterly bizarre and jacked up right now??? A few of the things that have gone down lately: 

1) My mom’s husband fell and busted his knee

2) Someone I know got urgently and immediately divorced

3) People are breaking up left and right 

4) One of my close friends was hit in the head by a dead tree branch that fell out of the sky as she was packing her car to go see Pat Benatar in concert. Staples in the dome, broken ribs, collapsed lung (she’s healing in the hospital- thank god!!!!) 

5) Two people I know had recent pregnancy scares

I’m telling you, I could go on… 

Some hippies have told me that Mercury is in retrograde (I checked, it’s not. It can’t ALWAYS be that, guys). Someone else said it’s the International Year of Astrology or some shit. Whatev.

But WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON???
