yeah - i wholeheartedly agree with your disagreement with palin, david, and thanks for seconding my feelings about the strength of conviction that accompanies such a hardline belief like life beginning at fertilization (or inception). what i find unnerving is that because ideological, anti-abortion politicians likely have to censor beliefs that i'd guess come pretty close to palin's, what we wind up fighting about is quite literally the minute details about how, when, and under what circumstances a woman may or may not make decisions about her own body.

the morning after pill being readily available would likely make a difference, and i certainly support that notion. but i believe that the most important thing we can do is provide comprehensive education. any kind of contraception is useless if people don't know it's out there, how to get it, when to get it, and how to properly use it.

•People who call a Porsche a “Porsh”. It’s not Porsh it’s a Por-sha.

•People who use the term “price point”. Unless you are in a corporate conference room you sound ridiculous taking about how you bought your new car because it was the most fuel efficient at it “price point”.

•The term “at the end of the day”. This over used phrase can be easily stated with the word “ultimately”.

•“No worries”. Another PLAYED OUT saying. Enough already.

•‘I’m over it”. No quite there, but on its way to being over used. Here’s a rule of thumb, when soccer moms start saying it, wearing it, or doing it, its passed the point of being hip.

•Ryan Seacrest – Yes you are gay, and I don’t really care. Go away.

•Paris Hilton – A failed music career, movie career, fashion career. The trifecta of no talent.

•White people who talk like they are black.

•Black people who think speaking good English is “white”.

•Porn with plots, special effects, period costumes, take offs on mainstream productions. NO ONE and I repeat NO ONE but the director is watching any parts of the video with the dialogue. Everyone else is fast forwarding thru your directorial genius to the sex. Ok Paul Thomas?!

•Anyone who says they don’t want “socialism” in the USA. “Socialism” aka federal funding has created the technology industry, personal computer industry, pharmaceutical industry, telecommunication and satellite industry and industrial automation in the United States. Most by way of decades of university research or the military industrial complex. Then, and only then is it spun off to the private sector to be sold as a consumer good. Oh, and the healthcare that John McCain enjoys as a United States senator is federally funded, aka SOCIALISED, health care.

Although I disagree with Palin’s position on abortion, if she believes a life and soul are created at inception, she is being consistent by not wanting that soul killed. Regardless of how that soul was created (by way of rape).

However, I believe that most, if not all abortions would become obsolete if the morning after pill was easily available to all women. Palin is against the morning after pill as well.

I do not support Palin’s religious beliefs on abortion, but if someone believes that a life is created at inception, whether by rape or not, then that life should not be allowed to be forcibly killed.

I like to think that posting here in my Libertarian voice provides a slightly different bent to your always wonderfully written essays.

My comments are less eloquent today because all I have to say is "ugh" and "yuck".
