Mike Vance

Biography:

Born in Charlotte North Caroline, Mike moved to Greeneville Tennessee back in 1976. His love for music started at the age of 12. Mike comes from a family of musicians, so it wasn't long before he started playing as well. Mike started out playing in church with a praise band as a drummer. He then started learning to play Bass guitar and has been with it every since.

While serving his country in the US Army, he had to set aside his love for music to fight for the freedoms we all enjoy. After his tour in the Gulf War, he returned home and immediately rejoined his passion for playing. Mike's musical influences are Lynyrd Skynyrd, Van Halen, Def Leopard, and Stone Temple Pilots to name a few. Mike has spent years playing with other local bands in the East Tennessee learning and educating himself on stage presence.

Mike is going to be a great asset to the Shady Sadie family.
